After graduating high school, LA native Jennifer “Jenn” Hanching found an outlet for her creativity while assisting a friend on a photo shoot. Inspired, she decided to skip the goal of attending art school and focus on a freelance makeup career. Her gamble paid off as she began assisting top makeup and hair artists on set and worked as a retail makeup artist for MAC cosmetics. During this period, Jenn strengthen her artistry and leadership skills which enabled her to make the transition from an assistant to a key makeup artist.
Jenn has an extensive resume covering all facets of the entertainment world. From red carpet events, photo shoots to music videos, commercials and live performances. She collaborates with celebrities, directors, photographers and brands. Her work has been published worldwide: L’UOMO VOGUE, VOGUE China, VOGUE Espana, VOGUE Hombre, ELLE Singapore, Esquire, Essence, Rolling Stone, Schön, Fantastics and Flaunt Magazine.
Jenn is a conscious leader with in-depth creativity, attention to detail and has the innate ability for working well under pressure. She has built and lead large teams of makeup artists for high profile events:
